I'm glorious!

I saw this on facebook and decided to post it here. As much as I want to be a 10, I need to make sure that I am still beautiful on the inside and happy no matter what. I'm going to hit walls and get frustrated. Sometimes I get to focused on the details of losing weight. I told Paul the other day "I'm doing so good. I just ran my personal best and I actually felt like I looked better in my jeans, but I actually gained weight from last week" He told me to quit with the negative and stay positive! Also, he always reminds me that he fell in love with me for me as is and it doesn't matter to him if I'm a 10 or a 20!

  1. With you on the whole plateau thing. Have been counting calories for 35 days now and have lost exactly one pound. Not as if I only had a few pounds to lose, either. I hate my thyroid.

  2. I allowed myself to feel defeated. I was doing 45-90 min. of cardio 5-6 days a week (before hurting my ankle) and didn't see an ounce of change in the scale. My husband let me know he could see a difference and told me I was doing an awesome job. His support and motivation help me to keep going. At this point I have decided to disregard the scale. I have taken measurements as a reference point and will check on them later. We need to remember that we are real women, this "journey" takes time, and we are beautiful!

  3. Thanks Ladies! I did lose an inch in my waist and hips, so that is promising!!! I also got into a pair of shorts that I haven't worn in 2 summers. Things are going in a positive direction, but the scale is not moving. I think I'm just going to ignore the scale.
